Janey Hates Winter

If she gets too cold, there is an expression that sits frozen on her little feline fox face: total discontent. She seeks out laps and nests on them for hours, purring.

It may take a few twists and twirls to find that perfect spot, but rest assured, she'll put in the work to get there...

And when she does, all is happiness for every involved party.

May you have a lap-warmer of your very own this season!!

Allison

  6. Aahhhh, yes- the cold weather cuddle. My Georgia-Belle is a born and bred SoCal girl. Can you imagine how she's handling Seattle temps? Most days I look like I'm wearing a fox stole in stripes of silver and platinum:)

    Kitty love to J & J..

  7. My lap-warmer (aka our beloved 15-year-old cat) died a few weeks ago. I miss him sorely. Hug that Janey tight for me.

  11. I've more animals competing for lap space than legs to offer up. That's how I get away with wearing tights in the coldest weather - I simply wrap up in my furry bodies.

  12. liz r. - I feel for you, I just lost Puck 2 weeks ago. She was the sweetest little girl... we had a good 16 years together.

Allison - Janey is adorable! You're lucky to have her.

  13. She should live in WI... '-)

Even Lori and I are mizer and don't turn the heat up much past 63 unless company comes over.

I loved the painting corner too btw... I thought Saturday, wouldn't that be a joy to catch up with Allision; and it was.

I miss her terribly, especially last night, we had a cold rainy storm here in northern California. Good cuddling weather :)

  16. Thanks for sharing those, Puck's Mom. What a beautiful soft-looking coat she had. I especially like the one of her next to the window blind. Cats have such a wonderful ability to look comfortable.
