It's a Craftsman Bungalow.

Hardwood floors...

Huge rooms....

One of those rooms has three windows and would be my studio....

The back yard has a lemon tree

Rosebushes 

And an herb garden....

The front porch has a swing

and empty giant ceramic flower pots just begging for my attention....

The kitchen has a Viking Stove with two ovens, put in for the chef who renovated the house

It is in downtown San Jose.

There are coffee shops and neighbors,

Yoga studios a small bike ride away....

Somehow in a mere hour it has lodged itself in my heart

And I cannot stop thinking about the details

The small animal figurines above each doorway, humorous and vigilant...

The black and white checkered kitchen floor....

The enormous windows

with screens....

I'll know tomorrow morning if it's where I'll lay my head for some years to come....

Cross them tight, friends.
