Thank YOU dear lady.

Last night a fellow boarder thanked me for taking care of the horses at the barn - a job I am paid to do. It meant a lot to know that someone notices and appreciates it, not just expects it because they've written a check :)

Aloha Allisunny! Im leaving my comment as official entry to your amazing giveaway! I cant believe the colors and pattern in the cab you cabbed...she is really one of a kind, and of course filled with even more love since you created her yourself, it would be an honor to decorate my finger with her! Mahalo!

So amazingly generous of you! After lots of changes recently in my life, I've been feeling a bit like an orphan myself lately. This can be both sad & thrilling at the very same time. Oh life! Perhaps the ring is meant for me?

Hey Allison !

This contest is really a good idea and a great opportunity to speak about kindness. It makes the world go round, for sure. But it's also rare to see real kind people nowadays in our selfish world so thank you for being who you are.
For me, kindness it's letting someone else win this contest.. =)

Love. Peace. Music.. 'til the end !

UmberDove said...

You are kindness embodied in a bright and shining human shell, you know that?

Let's start a rock band, you and I. Music rock, stone rock, strut rock, heart rock, foodie rock, SOULROCKMAMMA! (guitar riff...)

This last year I've seen kindness manifested in more ways that would even be appropriate than to list in this commenty space, but know YOU have been a beacon and a constant to me. It's what the world needs now.

ALSO. I might give a pinky toe for that agate. But the right foot, not the left.

Even though I know that you're more and more inspiring and amazing and talented everyday, I can't believe it!

Thank you for your kind words, your messages and warm advice!

I was just thinking about how people seem surprised by small kindnesses. A father at our school, who is a recent immigrant, even thanked me for warning him that he was parked in a bus zone.

Your kindness and generosity brightens my day. Thank you!

resolute twig said...

you are just wonderful.
Honestly, thanks for doing this contest.

The stones that you cab are amazing. It would be (and is!!) such a pleasure to wear your work.

And the kindness of this community really is pretty inspiring. Thanks for adding so much to it :)

Unspecified Happiness today. Is it because of tap class last night, a visit to Trader Joe's, a mani/pedi, or listening to my roomie Ally share her story? Maybe all of the above. Wearing my Jasper Heart and Peaches & Apples everyday. Much ♥ to you both!

What a kind person you are. I love your ring, the colors of fall.

I agree with your thoughts about this blogging community. I never would have guessed that one could feel so connected to a person far away that you never met. I also feel the connection with so many of the bloggers that I follow.

You are a gem of a girl, thank you for your generosity.

I have felt so much kindness lately from the women who comment on and read my blog.

I would love to wear this wonderful, 100% Allison piece. It would be my first ring ever. I've decided that you and Jillian are too talented for me to shun the beauties you create for the fingers.

Ms. Kelly linked me to your blog after your visit together and I have been reading and loving, too. I am usually weird about shirts with writing on them but that is an adorable and true one. Thanks for the reminder!

Love, love, LOVE your videos!! It's so wonderful to see your Sunny face and hear your warm voice :)

The greatest kindness one can bestow and/or receive is a heartfelt "thank you" and a friendly smile. Something as simple as that can turn around the bleakest of days for me.

LOVE the ring - fabulous contest!

You make some truly beautiful pieces. Not to be creepy, (although it is Halloween time)but...I met a friend of yours in Chicago (she was going to visit you this past weekend) and she was wearing a beautiful cross section of a stone with three metal studs in the middle. Any chance you have another similar ring? Or, alternately, the "It's all about soul dudty ring" in a smaller size? I love them!

Laura said...

Oh, I would so love to adopt this orphan ring and smother it in love daily!! Thanks for being such an inspiration with your art and your soul!!

What a gorgeous ring and gorgeous post. I love how a simple t shirt can bring strangers together and get them interacting with each other. Just reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, I have up on my wall. "No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted"-Aesop.

Thank you for the generous giveaway, I would love to be counted in!

"Be lavish with love. Its the only treasure which multiplies when shared, the only gift which increases when we give it away." ----Oonagh Shanley-Toffolo

This is my favorite quote, and love has changed my world by kindness people have shown. Recently, I went to pick up my daughter at a friends and she was not there. I did not have a cell phone but, she did. I dashed into our local library and asked the librarian if there was a phone I could use. Apparently, the library does not allow people to use the phone so, she reached in her purse and gave me her phone to use...It put this mother's heart at ease to know where my daughter was. Sometimes it is the little things that mean sooo much. Thank you for your consideration and sharing your beautiful voice and art <3
