When we first got Jones ( when I agreed to see a litter of free kittens born in a nearby apartment, basically ) the owners held him on his 5 week old back as he lay purring to show the sign that this is a cat that will be calm. They actually couldn't be more wrong in many ways, but Jones is a deeply patient cat and has come to love being on his back in Anthony or my arms when he's sleepy.
Pure Contentment.
