Mind

When I was a little girl going through the covetous phase of life I used to say, "Mind!" to mean "mine".
This stone fills me with such wonder that I am forced to revert and say "Mind".
I reworked the setting a bit and now I cannot imagine my life without it on my finger. No matter how beautiful the stone (and I have some doozies, let me tell you!) it's always something when you find YOURS. The man who works at the crystal store in Sebastopol instructed me to hold the stones in my hand.... this was the one who told me she was meant to always be near.

Just look at that internal sun....
sigh.
I bet each and every one of you have a stone that makes you breathe out contentedly.
Which kind of stone is your sigh-maker?

This ring, that is of great mind and truly meant to be yours, is utterly fine and beautiful indeed, it matches your gentle nature I believe....

For stones... yes, I do have a favorite {two} and when I wear them, they warm up like the sun... carnelian and rose quarts, are they... I wear them in my pocket when I need that extra bit of reassurance, they are not set, just plane old polished rocks... I think I will "wear" them now.

I'm feeling as though I need a bit of sunshine and warmth in my life at the moment.

That ring just looks so right on your finger. My stones - orange carnelians like little pumpkins, the flash of labradorite, the swirls in an ocean jasper (although I do love just about any jasper or agate), and all turquoise (its just so dang pretty next to some silver). I confess - I love them all. Its funny how a little bit of earth can make me so happy.

Michaela - beaming sunshine your way from California :) What a lovely idea to carry them in your pocket...

Susie - it's so amazing when you think of the earth as being rich with all of these different textures and formations... mind boggling!

Oh I LOOOOVE turquoise...it was my first "rock of love" (haha)....and I keep coming back to it. I can't seen to go without it in a day either (I have to have a turquoise ring on atleast one finger). It's also my birthstone...maybe this is why!? :)

LOVE your new ring though...it's a BEAUTY!!
And it looks perfect on your finger :)
