High Polish

Today's offerings are three:
a custom ordered Agua Nueva Pendant
.
A ring with a gorgeous moody Kentucky Agate
.
A necklace with a very generous piece of Arizona turquoise and a bit of starry sky!
.

The theme for this piece is again the Great Southwestern Sky: this stone made me think such fond and frequent thoughts of Arizona and New Mexico that I had to go and pluck out one of my finest pieces of turquoise from the region and set it into a sky of its own.

"Wide as the Sky"... perhaps your love, or your spirit or even you faith.

The Kentucky Agate reminded me so much of summer thundershowers: I got to experience one again in Lake Tahoe this weekend: what a feeling!
I surrounded the stone with all manner of thunderheads, both flat and round and even a dot of 14k gold. Size 7 polished to a high shine.

These pieces will be in the Metal Shop later this evening!!

What an amazing collection of pieces! The turquoise in the star necklace has to be one of the yummiest blues I've seen. The ring combines the colors of an oil painting with the rough, organic textures of metal.
And whoever is on the receiving end of that agua nueva is one lucky duck!
