Crossed... I love the porch it reminds me of Lori & my first house back in Manitowoc... get this... we bought it for $29,000 and it was built in 1929... when we pulled up an old pink carpet in the the joining front rooms ... we found birdseye maple hardwood floor.
It was home to our first children, three kitties... Jackson Wyoming, Willie T. Nelson, and Samantha Hailer.... all dear memories to us.
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOUSE!!!!! something like that in saskatoon right now would cost a fortune...it looks amazing. i'm really happy for you, this transition sounds like it's going to be great (albeit difficult, for sure). yay!
Ladies ( & Dave! ), I just adore you all. What a huge blessing to post this picture and come back to a bevy of support from an amazing and inspiring group of people. Carrie: Isn't it????? Susie: It is the quaintest town ever! Elaine: Oooh, toes always help! :) Jones may make friends before I do with those gorgeous windows! Katherine: You know I won't let you leave :) Dave: 29,000? Garhsadfaglkargkevf!! Ahem. :) Jordan: The journey will be a lot less difficult if I know that THIS house is at the end of it :) Wait till you see the inside!!
I am a wife and proud mama, a leathercrafter, silversmith and singer/songwriter living in the Bay Area with my wonderful little family in a century-old cottage.
Here you'll find my honest and sometimes profane thoughts on motherhood, love and work.

Fingers crossed - too cute! The other house with the red door was adorable too. Everything looks so quaint. Good luck!
Fingers and toes crossed for you! The house is adorable and I am sure the kitties will love all the windows.
